R&M Equipment Co. was established in 1973 and has been providing solutions customers can depend on ever since. Initially a distributor for Roots Blowers, R&M has developed into one of the leading distributors in the country. R&M expanded into the Truck Equipment market by taking on the Muncie Power Products line. As a master distributor for Muncie we are able to same day ship virtually any configuration of PTO, pump, or wet line system. Further expanding our product offerings we also took on a line of noise reduction solutions from Artusa Industries. Combining these products with the vast experience of the employees, customers can find the solutions they need at R&M.
Rotary positive displacement equipment, also referred to as positive displacement (PD) blowers, are machines that "push" a relatively constant volume of gas through a system. Compression is achieved through the blower pushing the constant volume against restrictions downstream in a pressure system. The volume is fixed by the configuration of the casing and rotating parts. Flow through a PD machine is relatively constant, regardless of pressure changes. These units can be used in the Conveying, Power, Waste Water Treatment, and many other industrial markets.
R&M as a Roots Distributor is able to sell bare blowers, repair blowers and package blowers per our customer specifications. We keep a large inventory of blowers and parts in stock to allow us to immediately respond to our customer needs.
